KEY NOTICE – We are staying at our current spot and spinning here at Token Yard until we move. I will let everyone know when this happens. We are NOT shutting classes down as I had orginally mailed out about.
I have found a bigger and better site at 228 Upper Richmond Road SW15 6TG (you will see the workman boards are up as they are putting the final touches in). This is way BIGGER so much so I have to expand things to be able to cover costs of the rental.
Looking at the frontage onto the railway line where the Spin bikes will line up – nice and light ! Huge sky lights are above this area.
Looking back to the Upper Richmond street site where the Triathlon retail area will be.
The huge sky lights the Spinning classes will take place under …. roll on the sun and moon !
The street frontage is all boarded up whilst work completes. We have a nice big patio area outfront which we hope you will have seats to chill in and share a coffee with friends after a hard class or outride.
Key points
• Head of Terms agreed with Landlord for a 10yr lease.
• Out standing is the Wandsworth council agreeing to a change of use A1 to mixed A1 & D2 ( this is the hold up)
As soon as this is sorted we are in and Spinning and the rest of the business areas will start up.
WHATS COMING
• 30 Spinning Bike studio
• 30 turbo trainers for Tri specific training (you bring your own road bike in) Note we are ramping up the offerings with the Tri and Cycle club and will look at a monthly based fee as a first through the club. ( wait to see what the deal is but there will be a ramp up in coaching and out rides)
• Triathlon specific and bike sales area with all the goodies you can come to expect from a great shop
• A bike repair spot with our in-house mechanic
• Physio / Chiro
• Social area
• MUCH bigger change rooms
• MUCH bigger studio – you will be able to stretch
• Personal Training which will hopefully include: Yoga / kick boxing
• Maybe a juice / health bar
These are the huge windows opening onto the railway line side that the Spin Bikes will be placed next to.
The road side frontage of the studio where the Triathlon sales area will be , nice big window frontage onto Upper Richmond Road.
If you look from the Puntey Overland station , there we are just past the blue paint on the Pilates studio on the far right of the Upper Richmond Road — nice and close to the station !
So from the owner of this small studio that has provided you with the training you love and support please can I ask you to be a little patient whilst we get things bedded down and grow!
